Whether you think it a masterpiece or an eyesore, Sea Containers House, by London’s Blackfriars Bridge, is certainly distinctive. Built in the late-70s, it was intended to be a luxury hotel, and now a chunk of it is being restored to its original purpose. Designed by Tom Dixon and opening on 30 September, the 359-room hotel will be the first Mondrian outside of the USA. We are giving away a night’s stay for two in a river-view balcony suite, with drinks, dinner and breakfast, worth £1,200.
